Maj. Gen. (retired) Patrick Donahoe currently serves as the chief operating officer.
When he retired from the U.S. Army in 2022, he was serving as commanding general of
the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence and Fort Benning in Columbus. His 30-plus-year
military career included numerous assignments in Armor and Cavalry positions in the
continental U.S., Germany, Bosnia, Kuwait and the Republic of Korea. He served multiple
combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds a bachelor鈥檚 in history and English
from Villanova University, a master of military science degree in land warfare from
the American Military University and a master鈥檚 of strategic studies from the U.S.
Naval War College. He also served as a National Security Fellow at Harvard University鈥榮
Kennedy School.
