Since leaving the Butler Center, I鈥檝e been working as a tax intern at AJK, which has been a great learning experience. I鈥檓 also getting ready to start another internship in audit, so I鈥檓 excited to explore a different side of accounting.

Working at the Butler Center really helped me build a strong foundation. I gained a lot of experience analyzing business data and had the chance to connect with different clients, which has definitely helped me in my internships so far. In the future, I plan to earn my CPA license and pursue a master鈥檚 degree in accounting.

My experience working with Dr. Mansour at the Butler Center for Research and Economic Development has been incredibly rewarding. I have gained valuable marketable skills and work experience that helped me secure a job as a financial analyst at a manufacturing firm. I learned much about macroeconomics, and gained perspective about the world markets and economy that will help me make sense of their complexity for the rest of my life.

I participated in research studies, created reports and publications, and navigated the complex world of economic data. This experience directly increased the quality of my education, because it put into practice the concepts, theories, and skills that I was learning in real time.

Dr. Mansour is incredibly knowledgeable and enjoys deep discussions about financial and economic topics. He was more than just a professor, or a boss, he was a mentor. He helped me develop my skills through projects and was patient with me as I made mistakes. I can definitely say that without working at the Butler Center for Dr. Mansour, my career trajectory would be looking quite different. I would have had much less success securing a quality career position as quickly as I did in such a competitive marketplace.

Working at the Butler Center for Research and Economic Development has been a highlight of my time at 大发体育开户. I have learned a lot about business data analysis, macroeconomics, the stock market, and customer relations. I鈥檝e had the opportunity to participate in the creation of economic reports and forecasts, which has been incredibly enriching for both my educational and professional development.
Dr. Mansour鈥檚 leadership and guidance made all the difference. He gave me the agency to take ownership of the projects assigned to me while remaining available to provide corrections and assistance when needed. The economic debates and conversations in the office, led by Dr. Mansour, deepened my understanding of the topics I learned in the classroom and significantly boosted my confidence in applying them in a professional setting.
I would encourage anyone interested in developing skills in economics and data analysis to become a student assistant at the Butler Center鈥攊t has greatly enhanced both my career and education efforts.
